It's just a thought

and oh what it has brought

dancing high within the air

reminding me, it's always there

It's just a thought

one by one the I is taught

but what do they all really mean?

they sometimes gather, and pickup steam

Its just a thought

the past the present are all sought

and least we forget a future point in time

subtle or raucous, riddles and rhymes

Some bring pain, some bring pleasure

Some go on without any measure

Some are fleeting, some are greeting

Some have absolutely no meaning

And guess what

you control those thoughts

they are not at random

and not only for the sandman

You make the choice

giving power to their voice

so remember, it's just a thought

and you control, that little dot
