Hi and thank you for visiting my site!      

 

 

My journey in life took me through a very dark place, which inspired me to begin writing. And as I began to write more and more, the thought entered my mind that perhaps I could help others by telling my story and my journey of moving through those clouds of darkness, and into the light. My book Live in One Light was the result, and Peace Matters (published in 2018) is the first step I took along with releasing some poems and other thoughts I wrote during this time “Poems and Thoughts of Light.”

 

My passion is to help you live and be aware of the light of Christ within you and within others each day. Light is understanding the mind of Christ, of which we are all apart, and understanding our oneness with our creator and source, God. 

 

By living as one light we begin to see a true vision of who our brothers are, and thus who we are as well. The light we see in them is the light we will see in ourselves. From a young age, I have always had an inquisitive search for meaning, the purpose of our world, and the world beyond.

Reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau and Richard Bach’s Jonathan Livingston Seagull sowed the seeds of another way of looking in the world. I read from both old and new philosophers, authors, and psychologists, to learn other viewpoints on our world and purpose here.

 

A Course in Miracles came into my life later and the question was answered: there was indeed another way of looking and living in our world, and my path and purpose were made clear. 

 

I am an avid reader and write poems, short stories, inspirational books and articles, and observations on life, along with a series of novels in the works and a screen play or two in mind.  I am also starting a YouTube channel soon to share more of what I write and have learned.

 

I have three teenage children and live just outside of Dallas, Texas. I also love to ride my Harley Davidson on the country roads not far from my house. It gives me a great deal of peace and joy as we explore:

And so tonight, with thoughts alone

I ponder, I write, within my cozy home

winds outside, blow north through pines

inside thoughts swirl, are they all mine?

 

fire burns bright and embers glow on the hearth

and a mind wanders deeper, for words to unearth

yes, this is my time, joyful and free

my time to spin and create poems, stories, and fantasy

 

and so tonight music plays softly

fingers move swiftly

words are caught while dancing in air

in my world, there is not a care

 

for its my time, and my place

a land of dreams, of timeless space

of love, and joy, rhyme and more

moving beyond the outer door

 

Where they appear, I do not know

nor contemplate where they go

all is now an awakening light

and thoughts appear, and now we write
