The quiet center

There is a place within which we can reach

There is a place inside which we teach

a quiet center we seek to understand

calm within this little man

a place were all are thought of as equals

a time of rest from the bodies sequels

knowing who goes with us, hand in hand

knowing we chose peace wherever we can

God knows us in this quiet place

for we stop and remember we are not in the race

and guilt is no more

for forgiveness has left it at heaven's door

the world still may scream and shout

and try to divert thoughts to what it is about

but within the center knowledge shows its might

and we enter into, the quiet of the light
